ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Tefi Sanchez, was born in Caracas, Venezuela. She graduated with a Bachelor´s Degree of Liberal Arts at the Metropolitana University.
After graduation, she travelled to Paris to study Fashion and Luxury Brand Management at the Marangoni Institute in Paris. During her residence in France, Sanchez trained at Elie Saab, Hussein Chalayan and Diane Von Furstenberg showrooms learning to better understand the “sales” side of the fashion industry. After graduation, she moved to Madrid to continue her training at Conde Nast.
She returns to Venezuela in 2014 to open her own studio and creates the widely acclaimed clothing brand PROMESSA, which became very popular in the Venezuelan fashion scene and helped establish Tefi Sanchez as one of the country’s most promising designers.
